Entry into the hair and hand dryer business for the public sector. Development, manufacture and sale of hair dryers for the public sector.

Discontinuation of the hairdressing appliances division.

Development of electronic and optoelectronic controls.

Relocation from Zurich to Dällikon.
1992
A new collaboration is launched in the Far East. Mr. Eugster, former Managing Director of Rez AG, meets his Japanese business partners from Etani at a trade fair in Tokyo.

The last trade fair that Mr. Eugster planned and executed as Managing Director was FSB Cologne 1995.

1996
Takeover by a group of investors from Upper Valais with subsequent relocation from Dällikon to Naters.
1996
The three musketeers Mr. Müller (Sales, top), Mr. Albrecht (CEO, bottom left) and Mr. Ryser (Managing Director, bottom right) get started. It is the first trade fair after the takeover of Rez AG. (Swissbau, Basel) At this point, they have no idea what successes they will celebrate in the future.

New development of an adapter console with integrated coin-operated machine.

Participation in one of the most important pool trade fairs in Europe: the leisure, sports and pool trade fair in Cologne.
Two formative figures in the history of Rez can be seen. Mr. Müller, who worked at Rez AG for over 20 years (retired in 2002). Acquisition of various products from Stäfa Ventilatoren (Stäfa hair dryers, KSL axial fans, Head Hunter controlled domestic ventilation systems).

Successful adoption of WagnerEWAR products as general agent for Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Introduction of the new height adjustment (gas pressure spring system).

Purchase of the company Cesovent (fans and electrical products).

75th anniversary of Rez AG

Competition won against various competitors in the city of Zurich with the WagnerEWAR program. The public buildings of the city of Zurich are exclusively equipped with the WagnerEWAR program. A standardized equipment line is used. This equipment line is finished with a high-quality Porsche paint.

Moving from Naters to Visp. Into own property purchased. (Litternaweg 8) Introduction of a new product from Austria, the Genius Dry Systems drying systems for shoes and gloves.

Development of the new hair dryer line in cooperation with Helbling Technik AG. WagnerEWAR develops into a very popular product in the sanitary equipment line

Market launch of the completely redesigned VENDAVAL warm-air showers. A world first with contactless high-frequency radar technology with automatic timer.

Thanks to Rez AG and the expertise of WagnerEWAR, an innovative new development has been created: the WP 163-S 4-fold toilet roll holder.

The hair dryers “Vendaval” are sold successfully in over 26 countries. Customers include France, Germany, Iceland and Japan. The Vendaval is the most robust and best quality hairdryer for the public sector.

Record sales: Rez AG has achieved its most successful year since its foundation!
2019
Over 5’000 projects throughout Switzerland have been successfully equipped with WagnerEWAR.

Establishing of new representative offices: La Piscine Collective – France

The new “Beluga” hairdryer line was developed in collaboration with Deck 4 GmbH. Development of the world innovation Beluga UPV/S! The first flush-mounted hairdryer of its kind.

Beginning of a successful partnership with Talsee. One of Switzerland’s leading bathroom furniture suppliers. Talsee equips high-quality offices and public facilities. Our elegant paper and soap dispensers perfectly complement the elegant furnishings.

Establishment of new representative offices: Unidors – Finland

In its almost 100-year history, Rez AG delivers to Israel (8 units), Morocco (24 units) and Tunisia (4 units) for the first time.
